Exterior Architecture offers all aspects of landscape, pool and outdoor design
Exterior Architecture are an independent design studio. Our approach to each new commission is met with excitement and creativity. As a firm we pride ourselves on our approachability and initiative for new and distinct design.
Our experienced team have worked on a wide range of projects from detailed courtyard spaces, restaurant terraces to large country estates, we understand that landscapes must not only compliment but enrich their setting.
We are a design only firm allowing us to focus on the aesthetic, vision and idea.
Founder, Toby France
Toby France is a Landscape Architect and Director of Exterior Architecture. Following a successful 12 years working for some of London’s and Sydney’s most highly regarded design and construction firms Toby founded Exterior Architecture in 2021.
We understand the importance of establishing a connection between Architecture and the Landscape it sits within. Our holistic approach to design allows us to create beautiful and functional gardens ensuring we are maximising the integration between built form and garden beyond.

Thaiane Furlaneto
Senior Designer
Thaiane Furlaneto is our Senior Designer at Exterior Architecture and has extensive experience working on high end projects, both in commercial and residential design. Spending the last 8 years in an architecture studio in Sydney and Brazil, Thaiane graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Design.
Kylie Reynolds
Office Administrator
Kylie Reynolds is the Office Administrator at Exterior Architecture, where she oversees the company’s administration functions. Kylie also has a passion for all things design and is currently studying a Diploma in Building & Interior Design.
Tess Webster
Student Landscape Architect
Tess Webster is currently studying a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of New South Wales. During her final year of school, Tess studied Design and Technology, producing Terrazzo Wall Tiles with a sustainable focus as her Major Design Project which were selected for the SHAPE 2021 Exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum. Tess’s outstanding results in Design and Technology led her to become a Distinguished Achiever within this subject.
